On-Ramp to College and a great Career

What do you want to be when you grow up? Virginia students now have a engaging and interactive way to discover their skill, match them up with in-demand careers and decide on the college they want to attend. All this and more through a web and mobile app called the Virginia Education Wizard.

The original app was built in 2007 and was showing its age.

Previously, we had built Mobile apps (smart-phone and tablet versions for iOS and Android) for the Wizard. These apps were aimed at rural youth and urban, disadvantaged youth, for whom mobile is their primary internet device.

The Wizard mobile apps were a finalist for the Mobile Excellence Awards
(the Oscars for Mobile apps). But even more heart-warming for us are the appreciative comments we receive from the 2MM unique visitors that the Wizard serves – some of the most discriminating and savvy tech users out there!
